Description

Set sail from Berthier-sur-Mer to discover the unique Alca Torda Razorbills and learn about the wildlife, geography, history, and culture of the area around the St. Lawrence River on a guided 4.5-hour cruise. See the Alca Torda Razorbills, a species of small penguins coming by the thousands from the extreme eastern regions of the St. Lawrence River to breed on the islands of the archipelago.  Located bout a 45-minute drive from downtown Quebec City, sail aboard the Vent des Îles departing from the Berthier-sur-Mer Marina. Step aboard and explore the vessel's lower deck, which features a dining room and lounge. On the upper deck, you’ll find the wheelhouse and solarium - perfect to admire the beauty of the scenery while remaining inside and sheltered from the sun.  Feel the breeze as you step outside to the exterior decks for some fresh air, cruising down the river and listening to the captain as he points out the sights of the surrounding landscape.  Look for the many small penguins that breed on the archipelago of l'Isle-aux-Grues while hearing fun facts and in-depth information from ornithologists onboard.
